Indena Valerian Extract is a dry extract obtained from the rhizome and root of Valeriana officinalis L. Omegablue® is a source of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA). It capitalizes on the four decades’ experience Indena has had with bilberries (Vaccinum myrtillus fruits). Extracted from the seeds of this unique berry, OmegaBlue® provides α-linolenic acid (ALA, omega-3) and linoleic acid (LA, omega-6), two fatty acids capable of maintaining normal blood cholesterol concentrations. Compared to other botanical PUFA sources, OmegaBlue® is characterized by a very high omega-3 content.

Siliphos® is a patented botanical derivative that is obtained from Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn. It is commonly referred to as milk thistle, and the plant has been used for centuries to address liver health. Siliphos® is an Indena Phytosome® ingredient in which silybin, one of the main bioactive constituents in milk thistle, is associated with phospholipids to significantly optimize bioabsorption.

Silymarin Phytosome® is an extract obtained from the fruit of Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn. This product is used in the nutraceutical industry for its benefits in antioxidant activity, a healthy liver, and UV protection. It contains 15 - 20% of flavolignans calculated as silybin by HPLC. This product is halal- and kosher-certified.
