- Basic Uses
The 465 is designed to form a deeply penetrating water repellant seal on most alkaline surfaces including concrete flatwork andparking structures
- Application Instructions
Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be sound, clean and free of all contaminants that would prevent penetration. New concrete should be allowedto thoroughly cure before application. Older concrete should be washed with a high pressure washer and/or cleaning agents if there is build up from years of usage.
Surface may be slightly damp, however; an excess of moisture on the surface will impede penetration. 465 is supplied ready touse, no dilution is necessary and is best applied by airless sprayer with fan type spray nozzle. Clean up with water. Exercisecaution around glass as 465 will etch the glass. Clean with soapy water immediately. A test application is recommended on thesurface, using the same equipment as you would for the job, to ensure compatibility and to see if desired waterproofing resultswill be acceptable. This will also be useful in determining the final application rate and proper procedure.

Storage & Handling
- Shelf Life
6 months at 5ºC to 24ºC when stored away from sun and direct heat.
- Storage
Treated surfaces should be protected from rain and foot traffic for 4 - 6 hours following application and vehicular traffic for 24 hours following application.
- Special Handling
465 High Solids Water Repellent Sealer may slowly evolve hydrogen gas. In the presence of acids, bases, heavy metals or theircompounds, the rate of evolution is increased. Work areas must be adequately ventilated to prevent the accumulation ofhydrogen. Keep the material away from sparks, heat and open flames. Direct eye contact may cause slight discomfort which isrelieved by flushing with water.
