ILCO PHOS 215

The broad spectrum of the esterfication range from simple methanol (C1) up to longchain alcohols (18) or alcohol ethoxylates in different compositions. Phosphoric acid esters are used as antistatica, lubricant additives, emulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors and flame retardants.

ILCO PHOS 215 is a clear, yellowish liquid with an ester-like odor. It is water-soluble in neutralized form. It has an emulsifying, anti-corrosion and wear-reducing effect in aqueous systems

Multifunctional additive for water based lubricants providing emulsification, anti-wear, extreme pressure, and corrosion inhibition. Preferred antiwear/emulsifier for water based metal working lubricants. ILCO PHOS 215 is also used in cosmetic formulations e.g. in hair cosmetics. It acts as O/W emulsifier to promote the formation of intimate mixtures of non-miscible liquids by altering the interfacial tension.
