Our HALOX® Corrosion Inhibitors are ideally suited for high gloss, thin film, and clear coat applications. They also provide superior synergy when used in combination with inorganic corrosion inhibitors in traditional coatings. POLYRON® series is a high capacity powder designed for binding calcium and other metal ions with rapid viscosity reduction during the dispersion process.

HALOX® SZP-391 is a white, nonrefractive, corrosion-inhibiting pigment that is highly efficient and versatile. It is recommended for use in a wide variety of resin systems, such as alkyds (both traditional and high solids), epoxies, latexes, water-reducible alkyds, high acid value resins, catalyzed baking systems, and vinylidene chloride latexes. Its fine particle size and low oil absorption make HALOX® SZP-391 the preferred pigment for thin-film applications (&lt;1 mil or 25 microns).

LOPON® PL is formulated using a blend of amine phosphonate and polyacrylate copolymer. It provides excellent dispersing properties, ensuring uniform distribution of pigments. This feature effectively prevents color variations and fluctuations. LOPON® PL prevents uneven color shading caused by different brush stroke directions.

HALOX® CW-491 is a white, non-refractive, heavy metal-free pigment used as a corrosion inhibitor in protective coating systems. It is versatile and can be used with a variety of solvent and waterborne resin systems. The recommended loading levels for HALOX® CW-491 vary depending on the type of system used. For waterborne systems, the recommended loading levels range from 5–8% based on the total formula weight, while for solventborne systems, the recommended loading levels range from 7–12% based on the total formula weight.

LOPON® 890 is a viscous liquid dispersing agent for emulsion paints, varnishes, plasters, and adhesives. It offers excellent dispersing properties, high solid content availability, and good storage stability for the paints. It is also stable with glycol and offers high gloss, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications.

HALOX® CW-22/221 is a white, non-refractive, corrosion-inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. It is not recommended for use in immersion or semi-immersion environments. HALOX® CW-22/221 is recommended for use in primer systems based on traditional solvent alkyd technology. It can effectively be formulated into such resins as medium- and long-oil alkyds. HALOX® CW-22/221 is compliant with ASTM D7089, which specifies the requirements for calcium borosilicate pigments for use in paints.

HALOX® 520 is a liquid organic corrosion inhibitor primarily designed for use in water-borne coating systems. It contains dual functionality as a corrosion inhibitor and an adhesion promoter. HALOX® 520 may be used in waterborne formulations such as 2 pack epoxy systems, 1 and 2 pack polyurethanes, acrylics (especially epoxy/amine-functionalized), and hybrid systems. It may also be used as a metal pretreatment additive.

HALOX® BW-191 is a white, non-refractive, corrosion-inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. It is recommended for use in most waterborne systems, such as latexes and water reducibles, and due to its lower oil absorption, it can also be effective in anticorrosive high-solids coatings. On the other hand, HALOX® BW-111 is recommended for use in solventborne epoxy systems, both conventional and high-solids.

POLYRON® 322 is a white powder dispersing agent designed for use in emulsion paints, plasters, and adhesives. When applied in combination with polyacrylates such as LOPON® DA 200, POLYRON® 322 improves the storage stability of the product. Its dispersing action also ensures an optimal particle size is rapidly achieved, enhancing the final product's quality.

HALOX® XTAIN® L-44 is a very effective liquid tannin stain-blocking additive that provides high performance and good compatibility in most water-based coating systems. Excellent tannin stain blocking properties can be achieved with HALOX® XTAIN® L-44 without the need for zinc oxide, which is required to achieve performance by most tannin blocking polymers on the market today. HALOX® XTAIN® L-44 eliminates the need for zinc oxide without sacrificing performance, resulting in improved package stability and shelf life of the coating system.

TARGON® P3 is an efficient VOC-free defoamer tailored for industrial additives. This white powder, easily mixable with powdery components, is designed for both gypsum and cement formulations. TARGON® P3 ensures smooth application by eliminating foam in constructions. This silicone, mineral oil, and VOC-free solution guarantees optimal performance.

TARGON® 19 is a setting retarder containing sodium monofluorophosphate (Na2PO3F). This industrial additive is tailored for cement-based products, ensuring consistent mortar consistency during application and initial hours before setting. A reliable thickener, TARGON® 19 finds its utility in construction chemicals for both cement and mortar applications.

TARGON® G 2 is a distinct product grounded in condensed phosphates, coupled with an anticaking agent characterized by hydrophobic attributes. It appears as a white, finely textured powder with commendable flowability. Serving as a secondary retarder element for pre-mixed gypsum plaster, this product prevents abrupt caking, establishes consistent setting, extends the time allocated for treatment between cutting and felting, and enhances the qualities of the final treatment.

TARGON® B 350 is a specialized retarder designed for gypsum formulations featuring Ca(OH)2. This industrial additive is ideal for situations demanding rapid setting, such as anhydrite floor screeds. With a focus on quick set time, TARGON® B 350 ensures efficient performance in both gypsum and floor screed applications.

TARGON® G3 functions as a secondary retarder, operating in conjunction with citric or tartaric acid based on the formulation's pH. For formulations exhibiting an alkaline pH, G3 collaborates with tartaric acid. In formulations with a neutral pH, G3 partners with citric acid. TARGON® G3 contributes to the attainment of consistent setting, an extended working duration, and enhanced qualities during the finishing treatment phase.

TARGON® GA 1 is a setting retarder formulated with sodium phosphate, hydroxypolycarboxylic acid, and an anticaking agent. This white powder can be blended with TYLOSE® MC variants and other processing auxiliaries, such as surfactants. Serving as a setting retarder, it finds application in gypsum plaster that is devoid or has minimized calcium hydroxide content (both manual and mechanical applications), as well as in plaster adhesives.

TARGON® FM is a processing aid employed as an auxiliary agent for cementitious leveling compounds. It constitutes a blend of sodium phosphate, hydroxypolycarboxylic acid, and a wetting agent. This product is particularly well-suited for ternary systems involving Portland cement, gypsum, and refractory cement.
