Suppressor 2238

Suppressor 2238 is a mineral oil-based foam control agent enhanced with surfactants to deliver effective control of foam. The product will work very well in most paint and coating systems. The product works particularly well in systems where resin content is based upon acrylics. Suppressor 2238 also works very well as a grind defoamer.

Usage Recommendations

In paints and coatings, Suppressor 2238 should be used as received at a starting dosage of 1 pound per 100 gallons of media. In adhesives, the product should be effective at a dose of 0.1 to 0.5% by weight.
