Potassium pyrophosphate is mainly used in plating without cyanide and bleaching leather products as stabilizer. Under two special conditions, it must be utilized: first is heavy - dirt deterging in controlling foam; second is cleaning metal surface. It is also adopted in detergent industry. It can also be used as a buffering reagent and stabilizer for hydrogen peroxide, dispersion agent for ceramic, clay, latex and pigments etc. It can be used in food processing of emulsifier, organization, quality improver, improvers chelating agent.
