In general, dissolve Chitoly™ AB in distilled vinegar to make 1% (w/w) solution, after which application can be performed by dipping or spraying of Chitoly™ AB solution prior to drying and packaging. Exact dosage depends on the nature of the product for which it is intended.

- Chitosan has been approved for use as a novel food ingredients and aid-processing in Europe ((EC) No. 258/97, EFSA) and USA (21 CFR 170.36, FDA). The regulations governing the use of Chitoly® AB vary considerably in the countries in which it is currently approved. Advice regarding the legal status of this product is available on request.
