- Limitations
This product should not be used,applied or recommended:
- In structural glazing applications or where the sealant is intended as an adhesive.
- In areas where abrasion and physical abuse are encountered.
- In totally confined spaces as thesealant requires atmosphericmoisture for cure.
- On frost-laden or damp surfaces
- To building materials that bleedoils, plasticizers or solvents –materials such as impregnatedwood, oil-based caulks, green orpartially vulcanized rubber gasketsor tapes.
- In below-grade applications
- On substrates made of PP, PE, PC, PMMA and PTFE.
- Where movement capability greater than ±12.5% is required.
- Where painting of the sealant isrequired, as the paint film maycrack and peel
- For structural adhesion on bare metals or surfaces subject tocorrosion (i.e., mill aluminum, bare steel, etc.)
- To surfaces in contact with food
- For use underwater or in other applications where the productwill be in continuous contact with water.
- New concrete must be allowed to cure and dry for at least 7 days of good drying weather.
