- Product Highlights
With aging, the dermo-epidermal junction flattens and the epidermis receives fewer nutrients. Keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation slow down and hence cell renewal. Self-regeneration capacities decrease. Production of all fibers (collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid...) and adhesion molecules dramatically decreases. The Stratum corneum is deconstructed and loses its properties of cohesion. Thus, the skin function as a protective barrier becomes less efficient and dehydration happens.
Skin is thinner, less elastic and supple. At the surface its relief is disorganized and wider, and so wrinkles appear.- Action
- Re-densifies dermal extracellular matrix
- Strengthens dermal-epidermal junction
- Increases epidermal thickness
- Restores the cohesion of the Stratum corneum by restructuring epidermis
- Cosmetic Benefits
- The regenerated, denser and thicker epidermis retrieves the complete volume of young skin.
- Restructured, skin is more elastic - supple and firmer.
- Skin surface is re-organized and hence fine lines and wrinkles are smoothed.
- The cohesion of the Stratum corneum is optimum - so skin is better hydrated.
- Light reflects better on smoothed and plumped-up skin so complexion is radiant.

A global anti-aging that re-creates the volume, structure and relief as a young skin.
REVERSKIN® rejuvenates skin, by regenerating it more efficiently, faster and better, from stem cells to the Stratum corneum surface
- Mechanism of Action
- REVERSKIN® speeds up the creation and stabilization of the dermal-epidermal junction (DEJ). The cohesion between dermis and epidermis is enhanced. The DEJ is stronger, skin is firmer and more elastic.
- REVERSKIN® stimulates epidermal renewal by increasing proliferation and differentiation of the basal cells.
- Epidermis becomes more stratified - more quickly - and recovers the voluminous density of young skin. The Stratum corneum gets its perfect cohesion back and works as a barrier again.
- Scientific Process
The volumizing action of REVERSKIN® occurs at all levels since different key markers are increased:
- Epidermis
Keratinocytes differentiate and migrate from the basal layer to the epidermis surface. Ki-67 is the marker of cell proliferation and shows epidermal regeneration. Increase in Ki-67 also reveals reconstruction and maturation of the DEJ.
At the final stage of differentiation the involucrin, an adhesion molecule, is the sign of the Stratum corneum homogeneity and so of good its barrier function.- DEJ
This 3D matrix network, composed of collagens IV and VII, glycoproteins and proteoglycans (including perlecan) is the membrane binding epidermis to dermis. A high concentration of these markers is proof of a stable and optimal DEJ - inducing skin firmness and elasticity. A remarkable result: a reconstructed epidermis (fibroblasts issued from a skin of more than 50 years old), cultured with REVERSKIN®, has similar thickness to 20 years old skin.
- Proven Efficacy - In Vitro Test
EPIDERMIS
Strong stimulation of cell regeneration- The Ki-67 marker of keratinocyte proliferation in basal layer is 3.3 times higher with REVERSKIN®.
- The involucrin marker signs the last stages of differentiation and thus densification. Already at D35 keratinocytes proliferate and differentiate under the action of REVERSKIN®. The dyeing is 5.3 times more intense with REVERSKIN® showing the cohesion of the Stratum corneum, which especially induces the maintenance of hydration.
DEJ
- At D35, the DEJ is in place and structured. The increase in epidermis volume and density is already clear.
- A faster, better and more constant densification, thanks to the increase in collagen VII, + 22% at D35.
- A better composition, stability and cohesion of DEJ, at D35 with REVERSKIN® (collagen IV marker).
Skin resistance and firmness
- Perlecan
Increase in this proteoglycan - binding element - which stabilizes and anchors the DEJ to dermis and epidermis. Already at D35, the DEJ is in place and structured.
Skin firmness, structure and elasticity
- Laminin-5
Increase by 12% in this glycoprotein, involved in the binding of molecules that form matrix and anchor filaments. REVERSKIN® still improves DEJ cohesion.
Skin integrity
- Fibrillin
REVERSKIN® Increases by 25% this glycoprotein, essential for the formation of elastic fibers.
Skin elasticity
- In vivo Test
STUDY ON 30 VOLUNTEERS, AFTER 1 AND 2 MONTHS OF TWICE-DAILY USE, REVERSKIN® 2%
- Increase in hydration level: x 3.5 at D28 vs. placebo.
- Increase in isotropy (orientation of skin relief lines): + 16 % at D56
- Visible anti-wrinkle effect at D28
- Increase in skin firmness: x 1.4 at D28 vs placebo
x 3.5 at D56 vs placebo
