GREENTECH Research thus developed LACTOPHYT®, based on the potential of Lactococcus lactis, a lactic bacteria producing a specific antibacterial activity. A new production process maximizes this antibacterial activity and gives an extract obtained by fermentation rich in bacteriocins and organic acids. To reinforce the selectivity of this ingredient, GREENTECH has demonstrated a synergy between this extract from bacterial origin and a low concentration of Glyceryl caprylate, an emollient also possessing an antibacterial activity.
