- Product Background
Healing Hive BCR is derived from a rare white honey from the isolated Kiawe Forest on the island of Hawaii. The Kiawe trees stretch deep to an underground aquifer of fresh water that flows down from the volcanoes, tapping into this nutrient rich source in the otherwise desert climate. The honey naturally crystallizes into an exceptionally creamy texture, creating a unique pearly white structure with healing powers to prevent and reduce scars, soothe inflammation and redness, and provide incredible moisturization to the skin. BioTransformation is a unique extraction technology that uses plant derived enzymes to simplify complex botanical actives so they are more easily assimilated by the skin. This sustainable methodology allows for the use of minimal plant material with maximum results.
Scar Reduction and Wound Healing
In vitro PCR Analysis results in upregulation of genes promoting cell- survival, tissue remodeling and reduced keloid or hypertrophic scar tissue. Further upregulation of integrin components increase cell communication, aid in growth of new tissue, and formation of new blood vessels to heal wounds with minimal scar formation. Reduce Inflammation In vitro study show Healing Hive BCR results in a decrease of Interleukin-8 (IL-8) levels. High IL-8 levels are linked to inflammation and oxidative stress levels.

Skin Moisturization
In vivo study of 20 subjects over 4 weeks shows a 38.34% increase in moisturization with Healing Hive BCR. This is nearly double that of the control cream.
