- Product Background
- Traditionally found in the marshy areas of Southeast Asia and Australia, and known in traditional Indian medicine as "Tiger's Grass," this herb has been utilized as a topical and internal wound healer for centuries. Containing a mixture of terpenoid glycosides, Centella Asiatica has been known to heal unsightly skin lesions by promoting a rapid thickening of the skin and increasing blood supply to the connective tissue. Centella Asiatica BT works as an anti-aging treatment by stimulating Collagen I and Ill biosynthesis and Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) synthesis, resulting in improved skin firmness, elasticity, and wrinkle reduction.
- BioTransformation is a unique extraction technology that uses plant derived enzymes to simplify complex botanical actives so they are more easily assimilated by the skin. This sustainable methodology allows for the use of minimal plant material with maximum results.
