In 1979, we founded our organization as a groundnut pressing and supplying business. Later on, in 2002, we migrated our organization to the castor oil manufacturing and distribution to the domestic market. And 2012 was the year when we began to offer our products to international markets.

We are now collaborating with more than 400 overseas clients in more than 55 countries with our experience in processing and class-leading technologies. We are embracing the privilege of being situated in the world’s largest castor producing area with more than 500 raw material suppliers of castor seeds."

Girnar Industries Castor Oil Commercial Grade is obtained from the seeds of Ricinus Communis, which is a pale yellow, viscous, oily liquid insoluble in water. It contains more than 87% of a unique hydroxy fatty acid viz. Ricinoleic acid.

Girnar Industries CASTOR OIL COMMERCIAL GRADE

Girnar Industries Dehydrated Castor Oil (DCO), Special Grade, is created when approximately 5% of the chemically combined water has been removed. Its drying properties are similar to those of Tung oil.

Girnar Industries Castor Oil Low Moisture Grade is also known as ‘dry castor oil’ which is attained after removing the moisture from the castor oil and it assures optimum effectiveness.

Girnar Industries CASTOR OIL LOW MOISTURE GRADE

Girnar Industries Blown Castor Oil is a honey-golden vicious liquid derived after oxidative polymerization and due to this fact, it is also known as oxidized castor oil or polymerized castor oil. It is prepared by blowing air or oxygen into castor oil at various temperatures of 80-1300C.

Girnar Industries Ricinoleic Acid, formally called 12-hydroxy-9-cis-octadecenoic acid is a fatty acid. It is an unsaturated omega-9 fatty acid and a hydroxy acid. Ricinoleic acid is the primary constituent of castor oil, which comes from the seeds of the castor bean plant.

Girnar Industries Castor Oil First Special Grade is castor oil bleached to British Standard Specifications. It is a yellow viscous liquid free from suspended matter and insoluble in water.

Girnar Industries Dehydrated Castor Oil Fatty Acid commonly known as DCOFA is a high diene Fatty Acid based on Castor Oil. DCOFA is liquid at room temperature, having a water-white to pale yellow color. Dehydration of Castor Oil is carried out at about 2500C in the presence of catalysts and under an inert atmosphere or vacuum.
