Bisomer® EP 100 DMA is the dimethacrylate ester of a specifically designed polyalkylene glycol. Based around a 12 unit propylene oxide (PO) backbone, both ends of the chain are capped with 3 moles of ethylene oxide (EO) prior to esterification. Bisomer® EP 100 DMA has the inherent ability to modify the hydrophobic / hydrophilic balance in formulated systems. Other interesting applications for Bisomer® EP 100 DMA include its incorporation into electronic photoresists, photopolymer printing plates, coatings in general and most notably adhesives and sealants. Low shrinkage on polymerisation and improvement in impact strength are amongst its major advantages.
