We formulate and package a variety of proprietary formulas from our wide range of bulk ingredients.Carroll Crosley founded Gateway Food Products Company in 1961, opening our first facility in downtown St. Louis. Carroll focused on manufacturing high quality products backed by friendly and reliable customer service. Carroll’s commitment provided the ground work for rapid growth. By 1978, Gateway Food Products had outgrown our facility and moved our operations to our current 25,000 square foot facility in Dupo, Illinois. In 1988, Carroll Crosley retired and handed over the leadership to his son, John Crosley. John has continued the traditions established by his father, spearheading our expansion and growth into new product lines.Gateway Food Products focuses on individualized customer service, catering to customers of all sizes without establishing minimum orders. This philosophy provides our customers a competitive advantage in the marketplace by allowing ease of entry into private label product lines and reasonable inventory management.Our success and growth over the years has come as a result of our commitment to quality and integrity. SOY WAX FOR CANDLES

Mid-Oleic Sunflower OilSunflower oil is the non-volatile oil pressed from the seeds of sunflower. It has a clean, light taste and is high in Vitamin E. A distinctive characteristic of Mid Oleic Sunflower Oil is its mid-level of Polyunsaturated fats (17%), and high level of Monounsaturated Fats (74%), making it a popular choice for high heat cooking. The type of polyunsaturated fat it contains is linoleic acid (an omega-6 acid), which is one of two essential fatty acids. Our bodies need this essential nutrient, but it can only be supplied by food sources. It also contains one of the lowest levels of saturated fats (9%) of most of the available oils.Gateway Mid Sunflower Oil is a refined, bleached, and deodorized (RBD) sunflower oil. It is commonly used in the food industry as an alternative to standard cooking and frying oils, in the movie theatre and concession industry as a popping and topping oil for popcorn, in the cosmetics industry in formulations as an emollient such as lip balms and creams, and in pharmaceutical products--High Oleic Sunflower OilSunflower oil is the non-volatile oil pressed from the seeds of sunflower. Coconut oil is an edible oil extracted from the kernel or meat of mature coconuts harvested from the coconut palm. It has the highest level of saturated fatty acids of any vegetable oil. Winterization: Chilled cottonseed oil separates into a large clear phase and a smaller cloudy phase made up of higher melting point fats. The cloudy phase can be filtered out leaving the clear "winterized" fraction.
