- Galsoft SLL is a class of nitrogen-free and sulfate-free anionic surfactant derived from natural and bio renewable resources by reacting lactic acid with lauric acid.
- It is an environment friendly replacement of amide free and sulfate free application.
- It is well known in the food industry and in personal care applications as they function as viscosity builders, emulsifiers, foam boosters, stabilizers, skin feel enhancement and can also be used as secondary surfactants.
- They have improved stability characteristics e.g. hydrolytic stability (such as aqueous hydrolytic stability), pH stability and phase stability and improved multifunctional performance properties (e.g. skin and/or hair softness and moisturization) that may be utilized in rinse-out and leave-on skin and hair applications such as a body wash, shampoo, liquid hand soap, bubble bath, skin cream, lotion, and the like

- Spill should be contained / collected and disposed off as per the regulations.
- Avoid ingestion, and contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
- In case of contact with eyes and skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

Storage & Handling

- Storage and Handling Conditions
- Store the material in a clean, dry place at 20-40°C away from direct heat, sunlight and moisture.
- Keep the containers tightly closed.
- Product solidifies, if stored at <10°C.
- Solidification is also possible during prolonged storage at temperature 27-30°C.
- If it gets solidified, then keep the carboys/jerrycans in hot room of temperature 40-50°C to bring back the material to liquid state.
- Entire mass has to be made homogeneous before use.
- Once carboy/jerrycans is opened, consume the product within a week.
- Prolonged exposure for days at temperature above 45°C can lead to color deterioration.
- In original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, shelf life of the product is one year.
- During storage, carboys shall not be kept one above the other and for pallets, stacking should be maximum 1+1
