- Galsilk™ 7 is a cationic copolymer extensively used for cosmetic applications. It is an invaluable multifunctional component in cosmetics and toiletries, and thus is one of the most widely produced cationic polymers in the world today.
- Galsilk™ 7 is a unique copolymer especially developed for improved compatibility and clarity in anionic surfactant systems with or without alcohol.
- Galsilk™ 7 enhances the performance characteristics of hair and skin care formulations.
- In shampoo, it increases and stabilizes foam, increases viscosity while contributing excellent lubricity, wet combability and lustre to hair, without any build-up.
- Galsilk™ 7 is used effectively in hair shampoos and cream rinses at low concentrations.
- Galsilk™ 7 is highly effective in skin care products because of its lubricity and substantive film forming properties.
- Galsilk™ 7 is used in shaving creams as it provides richness and volume to shaving lather.
- Other applications include liquid and bar soaps, moisturizing creams/ lotions, bath products (like foam bath, shower gels), suntan lotion, lip preparations and deodorants.
- Galsilk™ 7 can also be used to improve dispersion, substantivity, and/or activity of hair colors and other functional ingredients on hair and skin.

Galsilk™ 7 is available in 235 litres HMHDPE carboys. Total of 80 carboys i.e. 18.8 MT can be shipped palletized or non - palletized in 20 ft. full container load. It is also available in 50 litres HMHDPE carboys. Total of 360 carboys i.e. 18 MT can be shipped palletized or non - palletized in 20 ft. full container load. It can be supplied in IBC (1 MT). Total of 18 IBC i.e. 18 MT can be shipped in 20 ft. full container load.

- Store the material in a clean, dry place at 20 - 40°C, away from direct heat and sunlight.
- In original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, the shelf life of the product is at least two years.
- Keep the containers tightly closed after use. Once carboy / IBC is opened, consume the product within a week.
- On prolonged storage at < 10°C, product may become non - pourable.
- If it becomes non - pourable, it is recommended to keep the HMHDPE carboys / IBC in hot room of 30 - 40°C (avoid direct heating).
- During storage, stacking should be maximum 1+1 IBC / carboys (palletized / non - palletized).
