- Galguard Tetra is an optimized liquid microemulsion of antimicrobials for the preservation of beauty and personal care products. It is based on globally accepted and safe personal care ingredients.
- Galguard Tetra is free from all toxic and controversial antimicrobials including parabens, iodopropynyl butyl carbamate, triclosan, 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol, the isothiazolinones (CIT and MIT) and formaldehyde releasers (DMDM Hydantoin, imidazolidinyl urea, diazolidinyl urea, quaternium 15).
- Galguard Tetra is a blend of lipidated glycines namely, N-capryloyl glycine and N- undecylenoyl glycine and benzoic acid with phenoxyethanol. This ‘four component’ system exhibits broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity against yeast, molds and bacteria. The preservation efficacy has been ascertained by performing challenge tests as per the CTFA recommended protocol in both leave-on and rinse-off formulations.

Spill should be contained / collected and disposed off as per the regulations. Avoid ingestion and contact with skin, eyes and clothing. If feeling unwell, after accidental swallowing, consult the doctor. In case of contact with eyes and skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice

Galguard Tetra is available in 200 litres HMHDPE carboys. Total of 80 carboys i.e. 16 MT can be shipped either palletized or non-palletized in 20 ft. full container load. It is available in 50 litres HMHDPE carboys. Total of 270 carboys palletizes i.e. 13.5 MT or 360 carboys non-palletized i.e. 18 MT can be shipped in 20 ft. full container load. It is available in 25 litres HMHDPE carboys. Total of 640 carboys i.e. 16 MT can be shipped either palletized or non-palletized in 20 ft. full container load. It is available in IBC (1 MT capacity). 18 IBC i.e. 18 MT can be shipped in 20 ft. full container load. 22.5 MT of Galguard Tetra can also be supplied in 25 MT ISO containers.

- Storage & Handling Information
- Store Galguard Tetra in a clean, dry place at 25 - 35°C away from direct heat and sunlight.
- Keep the container tightly closed after use.
- Product solidifies, if stored below 5°C for prolonged time. If it solidifies, it is recommended to heat the jacketed ISO containers with hot water to bring the temperature of the product 55°C maximum.
- If the product freezes in IBC / HMHDPE carboys then keep the same in hot room of 30 - 40°C (avoid direct heating) to raise the temperature of material to 30 - 35°C and homogenize. Colour of the product may deteriorate on exposure to heat and sunlight. Once carboy/ IBC is opened, it is recommended to consume the product within a week.
- When taken in ISO container it is recommended that material be consumed within one month's time after unloading in storage tank.
- In original sealed conditions, when stored as suggested, the shelf life of product is one year. During storage, stacking should be maximum 1+1 for IBC / carboys (palletized and non-palletized)
