- Galguard NT is free from all toxic and controversial antimicrobials including parabens, iodopropynyl butyl carbamate, triclosan, 2,2-bromo,nitro,1,3-propane diol, the isothiazolinones (CIT & MIT) and formaldehyde releasers (DMDM Hydantoin, imidazolidinyl urea, diazolidinyl urea, quaternium 15)
- Galguard NT is a preservative system based on synergistic blend of lipidated glycines, namely, N-Capryloyl glycine, N-Undecylenoyl glycine with Benzoic acid and Sodium Dehydroacetate that is easy to use in personal care formulations. This ‘four component’ system exhibits broad spectrum protection against yeast, molds and bacteria. Galguard NT can be added during any step of formulation

- Usage Guidelines
- Galguard NT is very efficacious in personal care formulations with pH range of 3.0 - 6.5. Good results are seen in formulations with pH 7.0 as well
- Galguard NT has a melting point range of 55 - 65°C and is thermally stable. Thus, it can be added into the formulations during hot conditions till 80°C. In formulations not involving heating process, Galguard NT can be pre-dispersed in water followed by addition of this premix into the formulation
- Recommended usage levels: 0.5 - 1.5%

Spill should be contained / collected and disposed off as per the regulations. Avoid ingestion and contact with skin, eyes and clothing. If feeling unwell, after accidental swallowing, consult the doctor. In case of contact with eyes and skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice

Galguard NT is available in 50 litres paper fiber drum with HDPE liner. Total of 180 drums i.e. 4.5 MT (25 kg/drum) can be shipped palletized in 20 ft. full container load
Storage & Handling

- Store Galguard NT in a clean, dry place at < 40°C away from direct heat and sunlight.
- In original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, shelf life of the product is two years.
- Colour of the product may deteriorate, if exposed to higher temperature (>40°C) and sunlight.
- Once drum is opened, consume the product within a week.
- During storage, do not stack pallet one above the other.
