Typical formulation for final Bathing bar based on Galaxy™ SN 8262 GC:

• *Check moisture of Galaxy™ SN 8262 GC and if it is between 5 to 6% then do not add extra water
• **Total Actives can be added upto 2%, which can be increased upto 3% depending on Actives used
• ***Always use water soluble color and make concentrated solution to avoid addition of high % of water

Mixing: Charge Galaxy™ SN 8262 GC noodles into sigma mixer and crush it. Add the predetermined quantity of additives, water, perfume, color, etc. and blend thoroughly in the sigma mixer. Once mixture is homogenous, unload the sigma mixer and transfer the material for refining

Refining: Pass the material through series of simplex refiner and three roll mill for further homogenization. The refiner should have coarse refining screen and cool water circulation in jacket

Extruding: Once refining is done pass the material through duplex vacuum plodder for final air free extrusion to syndet bar / billet. They are further stamped on stamping machine. For smoother extrusion, cool / chilled water circulation in jackets of plodder is recommended. The extrusion head temperature should be kept between 35 - 50°C depending on the size and design of the head. The temperature of the bar should be maintained at 39 - 40°C

• Store the material in a clean and dry place preferably below 35°C away from direct heat and sunlight.
• If Noodles come in contact with moisture, it will form agglomerates.
• Keep the bags tightly closed. Once the bag is opened, ensure airtight closure after usage and use the product within a week.
• In original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, shelf life of the product is one year.
• At high temperatures color of material may deteriorate; hence storage condition must follow as suggested.
• During storage, maximum 7 bags (non - palletized) can be stacked and for palletized, place single pallet on ground or in rack
