Galaxy™ 720 SB is widely used in Personal Care and Home Care products such as:
- In hair care products viz. shampoos, conditioners, etc. Galaxy™ 720 SB also provides conditioning property to the formulation.
- It reduces static charge build-up on hair, prevents hair from “fly-away” effect and imparts good styling characteristics to hair.
- In bath and body-care products like liquid soaps, body wash, shower gels, bubble baths and baby-care products.
- In deodorant compositions, after shave lotions.
- In detergents Galaxy™ 720 SB is recommended for use due to its excellent wash and soil suspending power and good tolerance towards high level of detergent builders, electrolytes, alkalis and acids.
- In combination with Fatty Alcohol Sulfates / Fatty Alcohol Ether Sulfates, it shows synergistic properties building up the viscosity of the formulation.

- Galaxy™ 720 SB is available in 235 litres HMHDPE carboys.
- Total of 80 carboys i.e. 18.8 MT can be shipped palletized or non - palletized in 20 ft. full container load.
- It is also available in 50 litres HMHDPE carboys.
- Total of 360 carboys i.e. 18 MT can be shipped in 20 ft. full container load.
- It can be supplied in IBC of 1 MT capacity.
- Total of 18 IBC i.e. 18 MT can be shipped in 20 ft. full container load.
- 23 MT of Galaxy™ 720 SB can also be supplied in 24 MT flexi bags / ISO containers.
- In India, it can be supplied in Jacketed SS tankers (20 MT)
Storage & Handling

- Storage and Handling Conditions
- Store the material in a clean, dry place preferably at 20 - 40°C, away from direct heat and sunlight.
- In the original sealed condition, when stored as suggested the shelf life of the product is at least one year.
- Keep the container tightly closed.
- Once the carboy / IBC is opened, ensure airtight closure after usage and use the product within a week.
- When taken in ISO container / tanker / flexi bag, it is recommended that material be consumed within one month’s time, after unloading in storage tank.
- Product may solidify, if stored at < -5°C for longer time.
- If solidifies, it is recommended to heat the jacketed ISO containers / tankers with hot water (55 - 60°C) or low pressure steam (< 2 kgs / cm² ) to bring the temperature 30 - 40°C.
- In case of flexi bags, heat the flexi bags with heating pads for 4 - 8 hours with a steam of pressure 1 - 2 kg/cm².
- If the product becomes frozen in IBC/HMHDPE carboys, then keep the same in hot room of 50°C (avoid direct heating).
- During storage, carboys (palletized / non - palletized) should not be stacked one above the other. For IBC, stacking should be maximum 1+1
