Human health and wellness trends are clearly transferring to the pet food market more rapidly than ever.Pet owners are interested in the quality of their pets' diet and seek products that are enriched with healthy ingredients.
- Main Advantages of sc-FOS
sc-FOS prebiotic fiber, remains undigested by enzymes in the stomach or small intestine and is rapidly fermented (due to its short chain) in the upper part of the gut. It nourishes and promotes the growth of beneficial gut bacteria and inhibits the proliferation of potential harmful bacteria.
sc-FOS stimulates the production of Short Chain Fatty Acids (acetate, butyrate and propionate) in the gut that provides energy to the intestinal mucosa, and helps strengthen the gut barrier.
