- Compatible Substrates & Surfaces
- Suggested Applications
- Poured, broom finished, and troweled concrete.
- Pavers, brick, and block.
- Aggregate, natural stone, unglazed tile.
- Driveways, walkways, and stairs.
- Pool decks and patios.
- Garage, warehouse, and basement floors and walls.
- Car ports, pole barns, retail and restaurant floors.
- Coverage
Note: Coverage will vary depending on porosity, surface condition, application method, and the amount of material applied by the applicator. Two coats are suggested for even coverage and appearance.
- Application Instructions
The Armor WL550 should be applied with a solvent/acetone resistant HVLP pump sprayer. For best results, avoid applying with a roller. For consistent coverage, one even coat should be applied. Do not let puddle, product is not designed to leave a surface film.
Time of Day:To allow for proper absorption and reaction, the Armor WL550 should only be applied in the early evening (around 5 PM or later) when air
surface temperatures are declining, and when the sun is no longer positioned over the surface.
Surface Preparation:The Armor WL550 should be applied to a completely clean and dry surface. If the surface was cleaned with water or pressure washed prior
application, allow the surface to dry for at least 24 hours before sealing. While the surface may appear dry and feel dry to touch, water below the surface trapped in the pores can cause the same issues. While pressure washing the surface is typically sufficient, spot treatment may be necessary for deep or older stains. If the surface is smooth troweled, or does not easily accept water, acid etching may be required prior to ap-plying sealer. It is always suggested to apply the Armor WL550 to a test area to verify absorption, coverage, compatibility, and project suitabil-ity.The Armor WL550 is designed specifically for unsealed concrete and masonry surfaces. Do not apply this product over a surface recently sealed with a water repellent sealer, or previously sealed with a film-forming sealer or coating.
The applicator is responsible for suitability of application, and the results of the application. We suggest applying to a test area first to verify compatibility, absorption, coverage rate, and project suitability.
- Clean Up
Use Xylene. Dispose of containers in accordance with local and federal regulations.
- Product Removal
Armor WL550 penetrates deep into to the surface. Removal is not recommended.

Safety & Health
- Precautions and Limitations
- Sealer is highly flammable. Use extreme caution along with plenty ventilation. An approved respirator is required. Avoid ignition sources, flame etc. Should be stored in accordance with local laws.
- It is recommended to store this product in an area where the temperature is between 45-85 degrees F.
- Do not allow sealer to be subject to any form of rain or moisture for at least 24 hours after application.
- Coverage rates depend upon many conditions including application method, surface porosity, applicator, etc.
- Sealer was designed for a water repellent. Not intended as a decorative topcoat.
- Sealer will not keep water out of cracks, defects, or open joints.
- Sealer should never be thinned or mixed with any form liquid or solvent.
- Product WILL darken the surface of the concrete. Test prior to use.
- It is always recommended to test the product in a small, inconspicuous area on the same concrete substrate for desired results prior to appli-cation.
- Coverage rates will vary depending on porosity, density, texture, application method, etc.
- It may take up to 72 hours for this product to obtain its full water repellency properties. Visual water repellency characteristics not always visible on porous surfaces.
- Do not apply this product in the morning or mid-day.
- Do not apply this product to surfaces that currently have or previously had a film-building sealer/coating on the surface.
- Actual color enhancement will vary from one surface to another based on porosity. Porous surfaces, such as pavers, may require an acrylic sealer instead, like the Armor AR350 or AR500, for a deeper color enhancement.
- It is recommended to wear the proper personal protective equipment when applying this product.
- Properly protect and cover any areas not intended or suggested to be sealed during application.
