CitraFlor EG is powerful, bio-based solvent for bench top defluxing and stencil/misprint cleaning. This product eliminates many of the issues associated with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) cleaning including incomplete cleaning, white residue, and low flash point. Used as directed, CitraFlor EG will also reduce chemical emissions and lower use costs.

CitraFlor EG is a blend of high purity citrus terpenes, distilled in from Florachem’s vacuum distillation process. This specialized process insures that CitraFlor EG is consistent in purity, odor, color, and non-volatile residue. CitraFlor EG is considered low in toxicity, readily biodegradable and contains no halogens or heavy metals.

CitraFlor EG is used full strength at ambient temperature. Apply by hand or dip (unheated) tank. Use CitraFlor EG in the following cleaning applications:
Application Cleaning Function Rework cleaning Removes all types of flux residues Stencil/misprint Removes solder pastes and uncured SMD adhesives Post solder assembly or component cleaning Removes reflowed lead and lead free paste residues Conformal coating Removes silicone and acrylic conformal coatings Pallets, Fixtures, Wave Solder Fingers Removes baked -on flux residues (soaking may be necessary) Drying Tips - Follow cleaning with a clean wipe or desiccated forced air.
CitraFlor EG can also be mixed with IPA for quicker drying and reduced citrus odor. Add 25% IPA to 75% CitraFlor EG for optimal mix ratio.
For manual cleaning applications requiring greater polar solvency, CitraFlor OT3 or CitraFlor EG3 are recommended.

CitraFlor EG is compatible with most materials of construction in circuit assembly and semiconductor packaging. The product is safe on common metal alloys including aluminum. The product is also compatible with certain plastics and composite materials during short exposure times.

Contact your local waste management company regarding suitable disposal methods for waste material. Fuel blending is recommended for waste concentrate.

Store in cool, ventilated, fire resistant building. Shelf life is 36 months from date of manufacture in original, unopened containers. CitraFlor EG is considered a Class II Combustible Liquid by the US NFPA and OSHA.
- Storage & Handling of EG Cleaner
Nitrile gloves and safety glasses are recommended when handling.
Store CitraFlor EG inside under ambient conditions. Shelf life is indefinite however quality should be checked after 36 months in unopened, original containers. This product is rated as a Class Il Combustible Liquid by US NFPA and OSHA.
