FloraDyme

FloraDyme® 1100 is a distilled dimer acid that is produced from specific vegetable-based raw materials. This product has a high dimer acid content and a low color, making it ideal for various applications. FloraDyme® 1100 is commonly used in the production of reactive and non-reactive polyamides for inks, adhesives, and epoxy resins. It can also be utilized in synthetic lubricants, polyol esters, alkyd resins, and various personal care products.

FloraDyme® 1500 is a "1st pass" dimer acid derived from carefully selected vegetable-based raw materials. This product's composition is well-suited for applications that require minimal monomer acid content while maintaining the desired functionality of dimer acids, along with a lesser presence of trimer acids. FloraDyme 1500 finds utility in the production of both reactive and non-reactive polyamides, which are used in the formulation of inks, adhesives, and epoxy resins. Additionally, it is employed in various other applications such as synthetic lubricants, oil field drilling muds, alkyd resins, and corrosion inhibitors.

FloraDyme® 6500 is a Trimer Acid derived from specific bio-based raw materials. The basic trimer grade is sourced from TOFA, while the high trimer grade is produced from cottonseed oil. The high trimer grade, which boasts approximately 90% trimer content, is particularly advantageous for applications that require both the functional properties of trimer acids and the reactivity found in dimer acid products. FloraDyme® 6500 finds utility in a range of oilfield applications, including drilling muds and corrosion inhibitors. Additionally, it is utilized in various other applications, such as epoxy and polyamide resins, synthetic lubricants, fuel additives, asphalt binders, and other corrosion protection applications.
