Fintac 2331

Fintac 2331 is a modified rosin which offers an excellent combination of oxidation and crystallization resistance. This product functions as a tackifier for SBR, natural rubber, butyl rubber, ethylene-vinyl acetate and other polymers. It can be delivered in flaked and solid forms. Formulated in solvent-based and water-based adhesives, it exhibits no tendency to crystallize. It meets the requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21, under the following section: 175.105 Adhesives; 176.210 Defoaming Agents Used in the Manufacture of Paper and Paperboard; 177.2600 Rubber Articles Intended for Repeated Use.

Packaging & Availability

Packaging Type
Available forms/Packaging
  • Flaked forms in multiwall bags, 25kgs net. Depending on storage and climatic conditions, Fintac2331 is subject to remassing, but is readily broken up. Remassing is not considered a basis for rejection of the flaked product.
  • Solid form in galvanized steel rosin drums, 225 kg net, or molten in bulk. Although flaked Fintac2331 provides excellent shelf stability compared with other flaked resins, prolonged storage should be avoided due to potential effect on performance.
