Temperature-resistance
TROL® possesses a 35 °C higher temperature resistance compared to conventional PP. Continuous temperature resistance is 125 °C, peak temperature is max. 135 °C (< 200 h/year).
Absolute hydrolysis resistance
TROL® consists of saturated hydrocarbon chains. Hydrolytic cleavage and corresponding deterioration of the polymer does not take place.
Broad chemical resistance
TROL® exhibits an excellent chemical resistance, in the acid as well as alkaline range. Compared to conventional PP, the advantages of TROL® become particularly evident in matters of oxidizing agents. This is associated with the increased temperature-resistance of TROL®.
Hydrophobic and oleophobic properties
Due to the hydrophobic and oleophobic behavior of TROL®, the anti-adhesiveness is being increased. This has a positive influence on filter cake release of wet or sticky substances.
Thermoplastic properties
Thermo-mechanical methods (calendering) ensure smoothness of the textile surface of TROL® through plastifying and compression. This results in significant reduction of product adhesion to the fabric and positive influence on filtration efficiency.
Environment-friendly
No toxic ingredients are released during application or disposal.
