FerroFlam PA 50-RP it is recommended in compounds that require high mechanical and electrical performance. It ensures high self-extinguishing properties while maintaining excellent electrical characteristics thanks to the high fineness and high stability of the red phosphorus particles.
The recommended amount of FerroFlam PA 50-RP to be used with polyamide 6 or 6.6 varies from 8% to 16%. Normally, using 12% Masterbatch with PA 6.6 to 30% glass-fiber we obtain V-0 (UL 94 - 0.8 mm) and a CTI> 600 V with the Glow wire> 960 ° C. The maximum process temperature is 300 ° C, but the suggested working temperature is 280 ° C to have the minimum release of phosphine.
