Natural SPF 30 Sunscreen Lotion #EC-01-02

Formulation

Add and mix all the ingredients of phase A and heat to 80°C. Mix until uniform.
Add all ingredients of phase B except Zano® to a separate beaker. Heat to 75- 80°C. Slowly add Zano® while mixing intensively until a homogenous phase is obtained.
Add phase A to B while continuing to mix and maintaining 75°C temperature.
Begin Phase C with water, glycerin and citric acid added to a main beaker. Once solubilized, add xanthan gum. Heat to 70°C while mixing until a fluid gel is obtained.
Add Emulgin SG into phase C, then mix strongly.
Using high mechanical mixing (eg. dissolver or homogenizer) gradually add the mixed phase A/B into phase C. Maintain mixing until an emulsion is obtained.
Add phase D ingredients one at a time. Mix again at medium speed, then cool down to room temperature
