ESTISURF® CO 40

ESTISURF® CO 40 is a non-ionic emulsifier based on vegetable oils. This shows remarkable emulsifying properties with hydrocarbon solvents, synthetic esters, and natural fatty acid esters. This is an efficient dispersant for pigments, abrasives, and other solids. This feature may also be used in industrial solvent-based cleaners to prevent the re-deposition of dirt in a final water-flushing step.

Industrial Application
  • ESTISURF CO 40 is applied for formulation of stable emulsions of oils and solvents for application as release agents, cutting fluids, industrial cleaners, hand cleaners and similar products.
  • ESTISURF CO 40 is an important component in water-free, solvent-based cleaners, which are removed by water-washing.
  • ESTISURF CO 40 is often combined with other nonionic emulsifiers with lower HLB values such as ESTISURF RE100 and ESTISURF 970. ESTISURF 430 works as a coupling agent to dissolve ESTISURF CO 40 in non-polar base fluids.
