ESTISURF® 1618/7

ESTISURF® 1618/7 is a non-ionic surfactant based on a linear natural C16-C18 fatty alcohol. It is 100% active and liquid at room temperature, unlike most other non-ionic surfactants based on saturated C16-C18 fatty alcohols. It is recommended to use them as emulsifiers for oils, waxes, and other non-water-miscible components such as polishes, releasing agents, and lubricants.

  • ESTISURF 1618/7 is often combined with other nonionic emulsifiers with lower HLB value such as ESTISURF 1618/3 and ESTISURF 9114 to obtain the best emulsion stability and surface wetting properties.
  • ESTISURF 1618/7 has no CLP hazard-label and this makes it possible to formulate emulsions with no H sentences.
