Technical Details & Test Data
- Processing
CableFill® 300 compound is engineered to be processed on conventional extrusion equipment. Metering screw with 2.5-3:1 compression ratio in 15/1 through 20/1 extruders should produce satisfactory results. The compound supplied is in the cleanest state and is of the highest quality; however, the use of a breaker plate with a 10-20 mesh screen pack may be recommended to ensure optimal rheological flow and steady back pressure.
Pre-drying of the compound is not necessary, provided that the compound has been stored unopened in a cool, dry area.
