- MyCellePro™ is a premium, patent pending natural microencapsulation technology, isolated from egg yolk and containing about 20% phospholipids, 25% hydrolyzed proteins, and 55% triglycerides (neutral lipids). This unique product has been proven to be an excellent emulsifier and is in powder form, making it easy to work with and combine with other products.
- MyCellePro™ disperses quickly in water and requires only a small amount to completely encapsulate the oil in an emulsion. This leads to high loading capacities of around 40-60%.
- MyCellePro™ also meets consumer preferences for a non-GMO product which is extracted without the use of any harsh solvents, high temperatures, or high pressures that would denature the product.
- The triglycerides found in MyCellePro™ include omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids. It also contains naturally microencapsulated lutein and zeaxanthin, carotenoids associated with anti-inflammatory properties and overall cardiac health.

Micro-encapsulation/Micelle/Liposome Technology
- As this product naturally exists in micelle form, it can be used to encapsulate other ingredients, carrying them inside the sphere to the site of absorption in the intestine, improving bioavailability of water insoluble compounds.
- Suggested core materials: curcumin, CBD, fish oil, algae oil, hemp oil, coenzyme Q10, lutein, astaxanthin, and vitamins A, E, D, K.
Functional Food Applications:a
- The combined MyCellePro™ with microencapsulated core ingredient can be added to protein powders, baked goods, smoothie mixes, and other functional foods.
- Unlike other microencapsulation methods, all the components of MyCellePro™ are naturally isolated from egg and are therefore very nutritious. It contains phosphatidylcholine, peptides (amino acids), and healthy fats (omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids) and would be an excellent addition to a sports formulation.
Cosmetic Uses:

MyCellePro™ has a broad range of useful applications:
- As it is not extracted through solvents, it is a fully natural product. It is isolated through mechanical means and has applications in micelle technology in nutraceuticals as well as cosmetic products.
- In addition to being a bioavailability enhancer, it contains valuable nutrients and allows the microencapsulated active ingredients to be added to baked goods, smoothies, or beverages. Its dry powder form makes it easy to use and store.
MyCellePro™ can microencapsulate ingredients to turn them into powders that can be used in:
- Nutraceutical supplements - greater bioavailability, mask taste, increase shelf life
- Functional food products - protein powders, protein bars, etc.
- Functional drink products - smoothies, nutraceutical beverage mixes.
For example: MyCellePro™ can encapsulate fish oil, as seen in EggOmega™ powder, which can be used in applications far more easily than straight fish oil. This is because fish oil oxidizes rapidly, causing it to go bad very quickly after exposure to air. Many fish oil supplements on the market contain rancid fish oil. The micelles in EggOmega™ protect the oil from oxidation, therefore extending the shelf life. MyCellePro™ has also successfully microencapsulated hemp and flax seed oil. A CBD-MyCellePro™ product has also been created with a final concentration of 5% CBD and 15% hemp seed oil. This product has a wide variety of applications. MyCellePro™ also meets consumer preferences for a natural, non-GMO product that is also soy, gluten, and sugar free. The micelles in MyCellePro™ are gently extracted from 100% egg yolk using no solvents, high temperatures, or pressures.

- Egg yolks contain all the nutrients needed for developing the life of a chick. This is why they are so nutritionally dense and an excellent food source for humans.
- MyCellePro™ contains omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids. It also contains egg protein with a perfect amino acid score and phosphatidylcholine for optimal brain function.
- The yellow/orange color of egg yolk is due to antioxidant carotenoids such as lutein and zeaxanthin. These are fatsoluble molecules residing inside micelle, which makes them bioavailable, adding to the amazing health benefits of this product.

Ecovatec’s MyCellePro™ naturally exists in micelle form, meaning that the phospholipids surround a droplet of oil (or water) and hydrolyzed proteins exist around the phospholipids on the outside to stabilize the sphere. Microencapsulation improves the “bioavailability” of the active ingredients that exist in the center of the micelle. This means that more of the active ingredient is absorbed in digestion. We refer to these active ingredients as “core materials”. Micelle microencapsulation technology also:
- Changes liquid oils into free-flowing powders
- Protects the core materials from heat, moisture, air, and light
- Masks the unpleasant taste/smell of core materials
- Extends the stability of sensitive core materials
- Improves compatibility between different materials within the same microcapsule
- Hinders the transfer rate or evaporation of core materials to the external environment
