Drew Paints 16 Series High Solids Industrial Enamels

INTENDED USE

Recommended as a finish coat for OEM, heavy equipment, I-beams, tanks, columns, plates and other structural members.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces that are to be coated must be clean, dry and free of surface contaminants. For best performance, blast clean to an SSPC-SP6 Commercial Blast Cleaning.
MIXING
 Single component product, stir thoroughly before applying.
THINNING

 Do not exceed regulatory limits

• Brush/Roll – Not normally required, recommended no more than 10% reduction with Hi-Sol Reducer.
• Airless Spray – If required 5-10% of T8004 Xylene Reducer (½ pint per gallon)
• Conventional – Reduce up to 20% or as needed with T8004 Xylene Reducer.

APPLICATION

• Airless – recommended tip sizes (.012-.015)
• Air Assisted Airless – Kremlin Model 17:35 or larger, MX Gun
• Conventional – Binks Model 2001 or equivalent HVLP – Binks Model Mach 1
• Brush/Roll – Small areas only

• 42 Series Phenolic alkyd type
• 69 Series High solids Q.D. alkyd

Aromatic solvents (xylene, toluene, solvent 25)
