INTENDED USES

Recommended for OEM, heavy equipment, marine and industrial structures where abrasion resistance, color and gloss retention is required.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces that are to be coated must be clean, dry and free of surface contaminants.
THINNING

 Do not exceed regulatory limits

  • Brush/Roll – Not normally required, recommended no more than 10% reduction with T8004 Xylene Reducer.
  • Airless Spray – If required 5-10% of T8004 Xylene Reducer (½ pint per gallon)
  • Conventional – Reduce up to 20% or as needed with T8004 Xylene Reducer.

Catalyzing
12 Series Acrylic Enamel can be mixed with 11LG000 urethane catalysts to improve color, gloss and film toughness. Mix ratio is 8% by weight or up to 9oz. in a full gallon, pot life after activation is 6 hours at 75°F.

APPLICATION

  • Airless – recommended tip sizes (.015-.018)
  • Conventional – Binks Model 2001 or equivalent
  • HVLP – Binks Model Mach 1
  • Brush/Roll – Small areas only
