In the intestinal flora of healthy fattening pigs, Gram-positive anaerobic homofermentative and heterofermentative lactic acid producers, as well as obligate anaerobic Gram-negative bacteria and symbiotic yeasts predominate, but in very small numbers (in no more than 0.01% of the total microflora (Lee 2002 )), facultative pathogenic microorganisms are also present. In case of an increase in the proportion of facultative pathogenic microorganisms, diseases of the digestive system may occur. The plant components of DYSANTIC help preserve the natural physiological balance of facultative pathogenic microorganisms within the intestinal flora.
The intestinal flora is in a healthy balance (eubiosis) as long as the microorganisms belonging to the facultative pathogens (Clostridia, Salmonella, E. coli, Brachyspira hyodisenteriae, Lawsonia intracellularis, etc.) do not multiply due to some environmental effect (stressor) (dysbiosis).
Predisposing factors:
- Bad behavior and treatment,
- Harmful organisms picked up from the environment and feed (live germs),
- Unfavorable composition of feed,
- Mycotoxin contamination of feeds.
The stress effects that occur during weight gain can disrupt the balance of the microflora of the digestive tract, pathogenic microorganisms gain space, and as a result, disease can develop. Dysenteric diarrhea in pigs is a form of disease that causes particularly great economic damage, which in some cases can occur already after selection, as well as in breeding animals.
- Advantages
- Pigs for fattening grow up with a naturally balanced intestinal flora.
- Losses are significantly reduced (e.g. the cost of pre- and probiotic treatments).
- Production indicators are improving.
- Scattering and dying within the herd is reduced.
When using DYSANTIC, the effectiveness of pig fattening increases.

- Applications
- Animal Species
- Dosage
1 – 2 kg/t mixed feed.
Since the development of the natural balance of the intestinal flora is determined by the current housing and feeding conditions, we recommend that the daily dose of the compound feed be determined and changed within the femti limits as needed, site-specifically.
- It can be given together with any medicine.
- It does not dissolve in water.
