DL® IWS

DL® IWS immediately provides the look of even, flawless skin. The soft focus effect is acheived though Visi-Blurr© technology which are spherical shaped and vary in particle size from sub-micron to micron. That fills in fine lines and deep wrinkles on the skin’s surface. DL® IWS also has light diffusing properties that will provide a more uniform appearance. Products made with DL® IWS will make imperfections less obious, while providing a naturally, smooth appearance.

Formulation Considerations

DL IWS can be formulated in the same manner as conventional cosmetic liquids. High shear is generally recommended in creams and lotions. When formulating lotions, the use of suspension aids such as clays and gums are recommended to ensure stability. The use of silicones and hydrocarbons often have a synergistic effect with DL IWS adding body and viscosity to the formulation. The recommended use levels of DL IWS 3 is greater than 60% for immediate consumer perceived benefits and from 20 - 50% for a powdery soft application and smooth after-touch.
