- Applications
Deuteron OG 861x is recommended for use in solvent based coatings which are applied in low film thickness, e.g. can-coatings. Due to the good weather resistance and color fastness of the used polymer the product can also be used in coating systems for exterior applications. This additive is the alternative to wax dispersions with their wellknown typical side-effects.
- Dosage
The optimal dosage depends on the employed binder and the required surfaceproperties. The exact dosage should be determined by own trials. Initially an addition of 1,5 % or more is appropriate. The tendency to reduce the gloss has to be taken into consideration for each individual case.
- Processing
Deuteron OG 861x should be incorporated homogeneously into the lacquer by stirrer or dissolver.
