TYTAN

TYTAN™ AP100 is a titanium phosphate complex in which the alkoxy groups can react with resins to promote adhesion and/or cross-linking while the chelating agents stabilize the molecule. Tytan AP100 is mainly designed to strongly increase the adhesion of solvent-based inks to a variety of plastics used for food packaging or other purposes.

TYTAN™ AP20 is primarily designed to strongly increase adhesion of solvent based inks to a variety of plastics used for food packaging or other purposes, but also pigment distribution and heat sealing resistance are improved allowing perfect hiding power and appearance of printing on otherwise problematic substrates.

TYTAN™ AP310 is a mixture of titanium alkoxide and hydroxy acid ester that can be used as an adhesion promoter for printing, a crosslinker for paints, and a catalyst for esterification. TYTAN™ AP310 shows delayed reaction at ambient temperature and thus facilitates storage stability of inks.

TYTAN™TM AP910 is an ethyl citrate zirconium that can be formulated as an adhesion promoter for printing inks, a crosslinker for paints, as well as a catalyst for esterification. Due to its proprietary chelated structure, TYTAN™ AP910 shows a delayed reaction at ambient temperature and thus facilitates the storage stability of inks. Compared with organo-titanate adhesion promoters, it shows good compatibility with PVB, CAB, and CAP inks and provides minimal discoloration during the sterilizing process in the printing of milk pouches.

TYTAN™ APZ900 is a zirconium complex with α-hydroxy acid ester that can be used as an adhesion promoter for printing, crosslinker for paints and as a catalyst for esterification. Due to its chelated structure, TYTAN™ APZ900 shows a delayed reaction at ambient temperature and thus facilitates the storage stability of inks. Compared with organo-titanate adhesion promoters, it shows good compatibility with PVB, CAB, and CAP inks and provides minimal discoloration during the sterilizing process in the printing of milk pouches.

TYTAN™ AQ33 is titanium ammonium lactate that is used as an esterification and transesterification catalyst for the manufacture of unsaturated polyester, polyester, PET, PTT, and PBT when water content is higher. TYTAN™ AQ33 can also be used as an adhesion promoter or cross-linking agent for water-based coatings on various surfaces.

TYTAN™ AQ5000 is a proprietary titanium complex that is used as an advanced polyesterification and transesterification catalyst based on the latest titanate technology. TYTAN™ AQ5000 is recommended for the manufacture of unsaturated polyester, polyester, PET, PTT, and PBT without sacrificing performance when the water content increases in the system. Therefore, TYTAN™ AQ5000 delivers reliable and high performance during the processing.

TYTAN™ AQZ30 is a zirconium triethanolamine complex that readily hydrolyses in water to produce a hydroxyl zirconium chelate. This will readily crosslink with -OH and -COOH groups in solvent and aqueous systems to form strong gels and has the potential to act as an adhesion promoter.

TYTAN™ AQZ60 is a water-stable zirconium-based chelate that is effective in crosslinking -OH and -COOH groups. It works with a range of carbohydrate and functionalized polymers, acting as a crosslinker and potential adhesion promoter. The main application for TYTAN™ AQZ60 is in oil and gas fracturing fluids, as a replacement for alkanolamine-based zirconium derivatives, to deliver high viscosity and temperature-stabilized functionalized guar derivatives for secondary and tertiary recovery of oil and gas wells. It may also be used as a potential crosslinker in waterborne printing inks to improve film strength and adhesion.

TYTAN™ BIP15 is a mixture of tetra isopropyl titanate and tetra n-butyl titanate at an 85:15 ratio. TYTAN™ BIP15 is used in a variety of industrial applications, e.g., as an esterification and transesterification catalyst, as an olefin polymerization catalyst, as an adhesion promoter, as a crosslinking agent for hydroxylic compounds, and as a component of heat and corrosion resistant paints.

TYTAN™ CA-B116 is a bismuth-based catalyst used for curing a wide range of polyurethane formulations. TYTAN™ CA-B116 provides much-reduced environmental concern and toxicity with higher selectivity and less gassing in the presence of moisture. It is recommended in the area of coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (C.A.S.E.). Furthermore, TYTAN™ CA-B116 can be used in both one- and two-component formulations for both ambient cure and heat cure systems.

TYTAN™ CP-219 is a coupling agent that can enhance the dispersion of inorganic fillers in polymer systems such as PP and PE by modifying the surface of filler particles. The content of fillers can therefore be increased, saving on the cost of polymer while maintaining the mechanical property.

TYTAN™ CP-317 is a coupling agent that can enhance the dispersion of inorganic fillers in polymer systems such as PP and PE by modifying the surface of filler particles. The content of fillers can therefore be increased, saving on the cost of polymer while maintaining the mechanical property.

TYTAN™ CP-326 is a coupling agent that can enhance the dispersion of inorganic fillers in polymer systems such as PP and PE by modifying the surface of filler particles. The content of fillers can therefore be increased, saving on the cost of polymer while maintaining the mechanical property.

TYTAN™ CX100 is a chelated Titanium Alkanolamine Complex developed as a rheology modifier for emulsion paints. TYTAN™ CX100 reacts with colloid stabilized binders to impart a thixotropic structure to the paint through shear sensitive hydrogen bonding. TYTAN™ CX100 has no to little effect on the rheology of emulsion paints based on surfactant stabilized binders. Use of TYTAN™ CX100 shall always be based on sample testing to evaluate potential interaction with other components or additives of the paint formulation.

TYTAN™ CX200 is a chelated titanium alkanolamine complex developed as a rheology modifier for emulsion paints. It reacts with colloid-stabilized binders to impart a thixotropic structure to the paint through shear-sensitive hydrogen bonding and has little to no effect on the rheology of emulsion paints based on surfactant-stabilized binders. TYTAN™ CX200 has improved compatibility with a broad range of paint formulations, but it is still recommended that the use of TYTAN™ CX200 be based on sample testing to evaluate potential interaction with other components or additives of the paint formulation.

TYTAN™ CX400 is a titanium chelate of an alkanolamine titanate complex and was developed as a rheology modifier for use in emulsion paints. TYTAN™ CX400 reacts with colloid stabilized binders to impart thixotropic structure. TYTAN™ CX400 is suitable for VOC-free paint.

TYTAN™ EHT is a titanium alkoxide. TYTAN™ EHT is used in a variety of industrial applications, e.g., as an esterification and transesterification catalyst, as an olefin polymerization catalyst, as an adhesion promoter, as a crosslinking agent for hydroxylic compounds, and as a component of heat and corrosion resistant paints.

TYTAN™ ET is a titanium alkoxide. TYTAN™ ET is used in a variety of industrial applications, e.g., as an esterification and transesterification catalyst, as an olefin polymerization catalyst, as an adhesion promoter, as a crosslinking agent for hydroxylic compounds, and as a component of heat and corrosion resistant paints.

TYTAN™ PBT has polymer structure with chemical formula as TixOy(OR) 4x-y. TYTAN™ PBT is largely used in formulating heat and corrosion-resistant paints. TYTAN™ PBT can be used with zinc or alumina pigments to formulate paints suitable for application by brush or spray.

TYTAN™ S2 is a titanium ethylacetoacetate commonly used as an important additive in moisture-curing room temperature vulcanizable (RTV) silicone sealant, as a catalyst for silane and silicone cross-linking, and as a moisture scavenger for sealant. TYTAN™ S2 is sensitive to water and will react and cure immediately while in contact with moisture at room temperature.

TYTAN™ S22 is an ethylacetoacetate titanate silane chelate used commonly as important additives in moisture curing room temperature vulcanizable (RTV) silicone sealant, catalyst for silane and silicone cross linking as well as moisture scavenger for sealant. TYTAN™ S22 is sensitive to water and will react and cure immediately while in contact with moisture at room temperature.

TYTAN™ S3 is an ethylacetoacetate titanate silane chelate used commonly as important additives in moisture curing room temperature vulcanizable (RTV) silicone sealant, catalyst for silane and silicone cross linking as well as moisture scavenger for sealant. TYTAN™ S3 is sensitive to water and will react and cure immediately while in contact with moisture at room temperature.

TYTAN™ S6 is a titanium ethylacetoacetate commonly used as an important additive in moisture-curing room temperature vulcanizable (RTV) silicone sealant, as a catalyst for silane and silicone cross-linking, and as a moisture scavenger for sealant. TYTAN™ S6 is sensitive to water and will react and cure immediately while in contact with moisture at room temperature.

TYTAN™ TAA is a titanium chelate whose alkoxy groups can react with resins to enhance adhesion and/or crosslinking, while the chelating agents stabilize the molecule. TYTAN™ TAA has an exceptional balance between reactivity and crosslinking/adhesion-improvement properties, which makes it highly suitable for significantly enhancing the performance properties of industrial coatings on challenging modern polymeric substrates, glass, and some metals.

TYTAN™ TET is a titanium chelate of triethanolamine and isopropyl alcohol complexes. TYTAN™ TET is a water-soluble titanate that can be used in a variety of applications, e.g., as a cross-linking agent in aqueous and non-aqueous paint, wire enamel, and as an adhesion promoter in polyurethane systems.

TYTAN™ TIPT is a highly reactive primary titanate that readily hydrolyzes upon contact with moisture. It is primarily used as a catalyst for esterification, transesterification, and olefin polymerization, and selectively as an adhesion-promoting and cross-linking agent for hydroxylic compounds or heat- and corrosion-resistant coatings. TYTAN™ TIPT is particularly suitable for use in glass and glass fiber manufacturing and can only be added to solvent-based products.

TYTAN™ TNBT is a highly reactive primary titanate that hydrolyzes immediately upon contact with moisture. It is primarily used as a catalyst for esterification, transesterification, and olefin polymerization, and is also highly suitable as an adhesion-promoting and cross-linking agent for hydroxylic compounds or heat- and corrosion-resistant coatings. TYTAN™ TNBT can also be used as a moisture scavenger to extend the shelf life of moisture-sensitive, high-viscosity products. It can only be added to solvent-based products.

TYTAN™ TNBZ is a very reactive primary zirconate that will hydrolyze immediately in contact with moisture. TYTAN™ TNBZ is mainly used as a catalyst for esterification, trans-esterification, and olefin polymerization (Ziegler-Natta). TYTAN™ TNBZ is very suitable as an adhesion-promoting and cross-linking agent for hydroxylic compounds or heat and corrosion-resistant coatings.

TYTAN™ TNPT is used in a variety of industrial applications, e.g., as an esterification and transesterification catalyst, as an olefin polymerisation catalyst, as an adhesion promoter, as a crosslinking agent for hydroxylic compounds, and as a component of heat and corrosion resistant paints.

TYTAN™ TNPZ is a highly reactive primary zirconate that hydrolyzes immediately upon contact with moisture. It is mainly used as a catalyst for esterification, trans-esterification, and olefin polymerization (Ziegler-Natta). TYTAN™ TNPZ is also an excellent adhesion promoter and cross-linking agent for hydroxylic compounds or heat and corrosion-resistant coatings. Furthermore, it is an important raw material for synthesizing various organozirconium compounds.

TYTAN™ X85 is made up of titanium acetylacetonate, which acts as a resin modifier and crosslinker. It is utilized as a crosslinking agent for hydroxyl compounds and as a constituent of heat- and corrosion-resistant paints. The product delivers enhanced corrosion resistance, coating uniformity, and adhesion/coupling.
