FluorAcryl is a family of water, oil and chemicals repellent UV-curable coatings and additives. FluorAcryl coatings are transparent, anti-reflective and very tough. FluorAcryl additives (FluorAcryl 7298 and 1939) are used as additives in UV-curable inks and coatings to enhance water, oil and stain repellency.

The FluorN family of fluorosurfactants are widely used as leveling, wetting and foaming agents. Fluorosurfactants lower surface tension and increase water, oil and stain repellency more effectively than hydrocarbon surfactants.

FluoroPel hydrophobic and oleophobic conformal coatings are perfluoroalkyl copolymers. Applications for FluoroPel include coating membranes, plastic laboratory devices, microfluidic devices, printed circuit boards, ball-grit arrays, MR heads, micro-motors, MEMS, and hard disk drive components. Fabrics, mesh, filters and membranes coated with FluoroPel retain air permeability, Rayl values and acoustic penetrance. Oleophobicity grade of up to 8 can also be achieved. FluoroPel is provided as a clear, low viscosity, low surface tension solution usually at 0.2% to 10% polymer in either fluoro or organic solvents. FluoroPel has also been formulated to prevent corrosion, sweat damage, tin whiskers and dendrites.

The FluoroSyl family of coatings provide anti-fingerprint, anti-smudge and anti-fouling properties to glass, metal and many other materials. Coated surfaces have a low coefficient of friction and lubricious slippery feel. FluoroSyl provides an extremely durable abrasion resistant coating that is optically transparent with a low refractive index.

MicroCure is a family of water, ice and oil repellent coatings that are transparent, smooth and easy to clean. The smoothness and low surface energy of this coating family reduces ice adhesion on glass, metal and painted surfaces. MicroCure is colorless and does not alter the color of most substrates

FluoroSyl is triethoxysilane terminated, bifunctional perfluoropolyether (PFPE) designed as a low surface energy treatment for glass, siliceous surfaces, metals, and other substrates that have hydroxyl (–OH) groups on the surface. FluoroSyl is a hydrophobic and oleophobic coating. FluoroSyl provides long-lasting, antifouling, anti-fingerprint, and anti-smudge properties. FluoroSyl 880 is a good replacement for Fluorolink S10.

FluorN-S83 is an additive used to reduce the surface tension of solvent-based paints and to make them hydrophobic and oleophobic. S83 also improves leveling properties, ice and snow repellency of dried films. In some applications S83 reduces craters, pinholes, and orange peel in solvent-based paints. FluorN-S83 is typically used at 5% weight of the solvent-based paint.

FluoroSyl 3750 is hydrophobic and oleophobic perfluoropolyether derivatives. These coatings provides long-lasting, anti-fouling, anti-fingerprint and anti-smudge properties to properly cleaned surfaces. FluoroSyl bonds to glass, plastic and metal surfaces. This produces an easy-to-clean, low surface energy, low refractive index, transparent, oil, water and stain repellent coating that is less than 10 nanometers thick.

Cytonix FluoroPel 420-F25M is an innovative fluoro-polymer based conformal coating that protects electronic components from chemicals and humidity based corrosion. Electrical component are expected to withstand a very wide variety exposures and conditions.

FluorAcryl 7298 is a perfluoropolyether (PFPE) used as an additive in other UV curable coatings to reduce surface tension and improve water, oil and stain resistance. Films and coatings with 7298 may be expected to provide anti-fouling and easy cleaning from fingerprints and other contaminants. FluorAcryl 7298 is compatible with many monomers, such as TMPTA. With or without pigments and other particulates, 7298 rapidly UV cures in the presence or absence of oxygen.

FluorN 2900 is a 100% active, non-ionic, alkylphenolethoxylate-free (APEO), PFOA/PFOS-free, perfluoropolyether (PFPE) fluoro-surfactant that at low concentration reduces the surface tension of aqueous and polar solvent formulations sufficiently to permanently wet and provide smooth, pinhole-free films on PTFE and other low energy surfaces. FluorN 2900 provides for excellent substrate wetting, leveling, stripping, re-coating, anti-fogging, anti-blocking, cleanability, and open time extension. In aqueous and polar solutions, it is low or non-foaming.

FluoroSyl 3750Y is a hydrophobic and oleophobic glass coating with great anti-fingerprint and lubricity properties. Chemically strengthened glass such as Gorilla Glass (Corning), Dragontrail (AGC) and Xensation (Schott AG) can be effectively coated with 3750Y when the glass is properly cleaned. FluoroSyl bonds to cleaned hardened-glass and produces a low surface energy, low refractive index, transparent, oil, water and stain repellent coating that is less than 10 nanometers thick.

FluorAcryl 3298 is a hydrophobic and oleophobic acrylate that produces hard scratch resistance coatings. This oligomer is compatible with UV/EB curing. FluorAcryl has a high Tg, good water resistance, high impact strength and good solvent resistance.

MicroCure DTI 002 (0.02% solids) is a hydrophobic and oleophobic coating that is transparent, smooth and slippery. The smoothness and low surface energy of this coating makes it suitable for easy to clean (E2C) applications. MicroCure adherers well to most substrates including glass, metal, plastic and painted surfaces. MicroCure DTI is colorless and does not alter the color of most substrates.
