The Oil for Most Machine Shop Needs
CG 5360 is suitable for about 90% of all machining and grinding operations calling for an active cutting oil. With its proprietary blend of metal wetting and extreme pressure additives, CG 5360 provides extra anti-weld characteristics for superior surface finishes and enhanced tool life. CG 5360 is recommended for gear hobbing, shaping and shaving, drilling, reaming, broaching, turning, boring, forming, grinding, stamping, and other more severe operations. We also recommend the product for automatic screw machines (cutting side only) and turret lathes working on ferrous metals, and for hard-to-machine steels in tapping and threading. When working with non-ferrous metals, CG 5360 should be tested for staining characteristics.

Storage & Handling

Should be stored at room temperatures (between 55 to 95 °F). Keep away from sparks, open flames, and other sources of ignition as product and empty containers could contain combustible, flammable, or ignitable substances. Do not weld or cut empty drums.
