Cospheric Black Paramagnetic Polyethylene Microspheres 1.2g/cc - 10um to 1400um (1.4mm) have the ability to increase their magnetization with an applied magnetic field and decrease their magnetism when the field is removed. No residual magnetization is observed which provides practical advantages for end uses, including ease of separation and suitability for automation. When the magnetic field is removed, the microspheres demagnetize and redisperse easily. No solvents are used in the manufacturing process. The microspheres are highly opaque particles with maximum hiding power. Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.
