Safety & Health
- Safety
Liquid Caustic Soda is very corrosive to all body tissue. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times while handling. Product should be handled near eyewash fountains and chemical showers or other sources of running water in case of emergency. In the event of inhalation, skin contact, eye contact or ingestion, seek medical attention immediately. In the event of skin or eye contact, immediately remove clothing / contact lenses and flush with plenty of water for at least 15 - 20 minutes. Use caution when combining caustic with water.
