Evopreg® component prepregs are developed using our in-house formulated epoxy resin systems. They are designed for a range of cure temperatures with high performance, ease of lay-up and excellent surface finish and are a 100% bio-derived alternative to phenolics for applications where fire performance is a critical requirement


Evopreg

Evopreg® PFC502 prepregs are a range of fire-retardant, pre-impregnated composite materialsbased on a PFA (Polyfurfuryl Alcohol) bioresin. PFA is a thermosetting bioresin derived from crop waste and is similar to phenolic resin but withlower toxicity and VOC emissions. In addition to its environmental credentials, PFA hasoutstanding fire retardant properties, plus excellent temperature and chemical resistance. The prepregs can be supplied with a range of reinforcement fibers and fabric constructions,including woven and unidirectional E-glass fiber and carbon fiber. They can be consolidated byvacuum bagging, autoclave or press molding and are designed for applications includingaircraft interiors, rail interiors, marine, offshore and construction.

Evopreg® PFC502

Evopreg® EPC300

Evopreg® EPC200 component prepregs are primarily designed for low-temperature, out-of- autoclave processing. Their flexible cure profile also makes them ideally suited to rapid processing at higher temperatures. Based on a toughened epoxy resin system, Evopreg® EPC200 is formulated specifically for high performance, ease of lay-up and excellent surface finish. The prepregs can be supplied with a range of reinforcement fibers and fabric constructions. They can be consolidated by vacuum bag/oven, autoclave or press molding and are designed for a range of applications including automotive, motorsport, sporting goods and general industrial..

Evopreg® EPC200

Evopreg® PA is a range of thermoplastic tape manufactured from polyamide-6 (PA6) polymer with unidirectional carbon fiber and is suitable for automated tape laying, winding and compression molding into highperformance, lightweight components. Thermoplastic tapes can provide outstanding mechanical performance, clean manufacturing processes, low waste and the potential for easier recyclability at end-of-life. Much like traditional thermosets, there are also multiple processing routesavailable; however, processed parts can be subsequently post-formed to create more complex shapes. Additionally, thermoplastic tapes can be stored almost indefinitely, compared to the limited shelf-life of pre-impregnated thermoset tapes.

Evopreg® PA

Evopreg® EPT120 tooling prepregs are designed to help composite tooling manufacturers improve the flexibility and efficiency of their tooling manufacturing operations, by providing a combination of extended out-life and flexible curing cycles. With an out-life of 21 days, Evopreg® EPT120 prepregs are ideally suited to the production of larger, more complex tools, or to the batch production of multiple tools, ahead of a single (e.g. Weekly) scheduled cure. For applications where rapid turnaround is critical, Evopreg® EPT120 prepregs can be fully cured in a single-shot ramped cure. The prepregs can be supplied with a range of reinforcement fibers and fabric constructions. They require low pressure autoclave processing for optimum surface finish and are suitable for a range of applications including automotive, motorsport, sporting goods and general industrial.

Evopreg® EPT120

Evopreg® ampliTex™ – Carbon Hybrids can be combined with traditional carbon fiber-epoxy prepregs to produce a high performance hybrid offering the benefits of both materials. By replacing carbon bulking plies with flax, it is possible to produce a “thin sandwich” structure that retains the bending stiffness of an all-carbon laminate, whilst also delivering the weight reduction, vibration damping and reduced environmental impact that flax offers.

Evopreg® ampliTex™ – Carbon Hybrids

Evopreg® ampliTex™ EPC300 component prepregs are based on a medium temperature curing, toughened epoxy resin system, formulated specifically for high performance, ease of lay-up and excellent surface finish. The prepregs can be supplied with a range of reinforcement fibers and fabric constructions. They can be consolidated by autoclave or press molding and are designed for a range of applications including automotive, motorsport, sporting goods and general industrial.

Evopreg® ampliTex™ EPC300

Evopreg® EPT110 tooling prepregs are based on a low temperature curing, toughened epoxy resin system, formulated specifically for high temperature performance, ease of lay-up and excellent surface finish. The prepregs can be supplied with a range of reinforcement fibers and fabric constructions, including carbon, glass and ampliTex™ flax, and they are best consolidated in an autoclave.

Evopreg® EPT110

The Evopreg® ampliTex™ + powerRibs™ system, it is possible to match the stiffness of traditional carbon-fiber components, while also reducing component weight. PowerRibs™ are a natural fiber reinforcement grid, designed to provide a significant increase in stiffness for only a minimum increase in weight. Provided as a dry reinforcement supported on a lightweight veil, they are incorporated into a layup which combines standard Evopreg® ampliTex™ prepreg with a specially-tailored resin-rich variant.
