Features & Benefits

Product Highlights

CLiQFLOW 602 provides a thixotropic, strongly shear thinning flow behavior with high low shear viscosities. It improves the elasticity of a system and therefore reduces phase separation and pigment settling.

CLiQFLOW 602 is easy to activate and is recommended in systems with a pH between 6 and 12. It can be combined with any other classes of rheological additives to further modify the flow behavior and performance of an aqueous system.

Level of Use

CLiQFLOW 602 is typically used at a loading level between 0.3 –1.5% depending on the nature of the system. For typical decorative latex paints a loading of 0.5% on total might be recommended for the first screening study.

CLiQFLOW602 requires shear and dwell for activation. In can be incorporated as powder at the milling stage of the manufacturing process but also as pre-gel in water. The pre-gel can be added at any formulation step. It is recommended to use a pre-gel concentration of 5% CLiQFLOW 602for optimum activation.

CLiQFLOW 602 is compatible with most binder systems and can be combined with any other rheological additive if required.
