CIMTECH® 627

This third generation “hybrid” offers the following grinding ratio
increases compared to earlier versions:

1. Conventional Fluids  300%
2. 2" Generation Hybrid  70%

•  Lower Foam than 2" generation version
•  Improved biological control

Grinding:
CIMTECH 627 offers a tremendous increase in grinding ratio without the use of chlorinated extreme pressure additives. It is an excellent choice for valve stem grinding, bearing grinding and other severe grinding operations and performs even better when conditions are extreme.
Machining:
CIMTECH 627 reduces cut zone force, extending tool life and improving surface finish. It can also be used for form-tapping operations.

CIMTECH 627 is designed for use on stainless and hardened steels, exotics and most aluminum alloys where increased feeds, speeds and pressures cause conventional fluids to fail. It should not be used on magnesium alloys.
For severe duty grinding and machining applications where wheel/tool life and surface finish requirements are critical. It can improve wheel life by 300% or more compared to conventional fluids, and 40% or more compared to high performance fluids.

BCG Titration, Total Alkalinity, CIMCHEK™ Test Strip or Refractometer can be used.
The Refractometer Factor is 1.4.
Multiply the scale reading obtained on your CIMCOOL® Refractometer by this factor to obtain the mix concentration in percent. Calibrate the refractometer so that it reads 0.0 with water before testing the sample mix. Remove gross contaminants from the sample mixes before testing. A refractometer is only recommended for use in checking the concentration on a fresh charge.
