- Application Technique
- Besides its application as rheological additive, thickener and stabilizer in mostly all aqueous systems of the building material industry, AGOCEL AC 5600 is particularly appropriate as antideposition agent in painting systems containing sodium silicate.
- The special properties of AGOCEL AC 5600, the distinct pseudo-plasticity, the high suspending power in twophase systems in connection with the high stability to temperature, electrolytes, pH-value and bacteria, are the decisive factors for the use of AGOCEL AC 5600 in the application fields stated below:
- Preferred Application Fields:
- Silicate paints
- Dispersion paints and plasters
- Machine plasters based on gypsum, cement and lime cement
- Floating screeds
- Recommendation for Use
- The usual application concentrations of AGOCEL AC 5600 are between 0.01 % and 0.5 % related to the total formulation.
- The optimal application amount varies according to the application field, origin and type of the raw materials used.
- We recommend to premix AGOCEL AC 5600 with other dry components or to use a high speed stirrer in order to avoid lump formation when adding this product into water.
- AGOCEL AC 5600 do not contain any preservatives.
