  • Northshore COLI9500 is a lubricity improver for low sulfur diesel fuels and other middle distillates, which possess poor lubricity characteristics.
  • Northshore COLI9500 is highly effective at protecting rotary fuel injection equipment from wear when operating with fuels of low intrinsic lubricity.
  • Northshore COLI9500 demonstrates excellent lubricity improving characteristics by HFRR and SLBOCLE bench test procedures. Northshore COLI9500 will not cause plunger sticking in in-line pumps and has been designed to have minimal interaction with basic materials such as caustic and lube oil additives.
  • NorthShore COLI9500 is not suitable for use in aviation fuels. Northshore 9500 meets Energy Institue Criteria for use in multi-product pipelines co-transporting jet fuel.
  • Northshore COLI9500 can be added at the refinery either concentrated or as a stock solution using a pump or eduction system.
  • Northshore COLI9500 is compatible with other commonly used fuel additives and engine and fuel system materials.
Recommended Treat Rate

Northshore COLI9500 is recommended for use at treat rates of between 10 and 200 ppm. It can be added at the loading rack or farther upstream to protect transfer equipment and vehicle fuel pumps. This product is equally suitable for use in gasoline or diesel-powered engines.

Performance Data

Northshore COLI9500 shows excellent permance in diesel and fuel oil at low treat rate. The graph shows COLI9500 achieve wear scar of less than 380 micron @ 110mg/L treat rate in a stardard fuel sample.

Packaging Information
  • Northshore COLI9500 delivered as liquid in 200 liter steel drums(Net weight 180kg), or as bulk in totes, flexibag, ISO tank containers. Other special packaging can be requested.
  • Alternatively, Northshore COLI9500 can be packaged with multifunctional additives and added at the terminal.
  • Less concentrated variants of Northshore COLI9500 are available if required to meet specific viscometric requirements.
Other Available Formulation
  • ST3495 is a multifunctional fuel additive that combined antistatic additive with acid type lubricity improver.
  • COLI9500N is a fuel additive that has enhanced cold flow properties. It has a pour point lower than -20°C.
