Cerflon Technologies CRT-BN150SN 20%

CRT-BN150SN 20% is formulated for improved EP, load carrying and extreme temperature conditions when used in fully formulated coatings and lubricants. Benefits can include energy savings, smoother mechanical operation, extended life, and reduced maintenance costs of the object being coated or lubricated. The hexagonal Boron Nitride reduces surface to surface contact and will also provide low friction lubrication under boundary conditions.

Dilution:

CRT-BN150SN 20% can be blended with most oils. In large batch blending, the carrier should be heated to ~55⁰C (131⁰F). Stir the CRT-BN150SN 20% thoroughly for uniform consistency, after which, combine equal parts of CRT-BN150SN 20% and the other carrier(s)/diluents(s) before blending with the balance of the carrier(s)/diluents(s). Agitation or mechanical stirring throughout the blending operation is extremely important. Soft settling of the larger hBN particles may occur over extended storage. Please agitate or stir to bring these particles back into suspension. Always thoroughly agitate immediately before using the diluted form of CCRT-BN150SN 20%.

Application:

To start, use CRT-BN150SN 20% at one (1) percent BN solids by weight in the fully formulated product, or approximately five (5) percent by weight of CRT-BN150SN 20%. A lower treat rate may provide performance results, but the final concentration of CRT-BN150SN 20% should be chosen for the desired results and/or performance.
