"Castle Dairy® started in 1934 as a butter factory founded by private shareholders. At that time the company was called BHA Belgium, which was short for Beurrerie Herve Aubel the closest towns.

Over the years, the company started to specialize more and more in the dairy market. It's niche: milkpowders and butter. In the mid-90s, a new impetus is given with the acquisition by the Holding Peemex&Lambrecht, then integration into the dairy group Pajot Dairy.

Later on, with their home-office in Welkenraedt BHA started the cooperation with Castle Ingredients, who specializes in preparation and logistics for dried dairy, giving the opportunity to BHA to focus further on the development of new produces, and sales of spray dairy products for the food industry all around the world.

In February 2019 the Company Castle Dairy® was created to integrate the dairy knowledge and experience of BHA with the logistic network and sales force of Castle Ingredients.

In June 2019, a further integration will take place by concentrating all our activities like trading, producing, laboratory, R&D, marketing and logistics in our new 15.000 sqm warehouse and office in Hombourg."

Fat powder 80% Palm is a free flowing creamy-white, spray dried powder containing 80% fully refined palm oil certified sustainable according RSPO SG, glucose syrup, milk proteins and free flowing agent (no stabilizer). Due to its excellent emulsifying and flowing properties use in food industry and especially for bakery, biscuit, ice-cream, mousse and filling products, soups and sauces.

CASTLE 80% FAT PALM

Vegetable protein products (VPP) are defined as ‘food products produced by the reduction or removal from vegetable materials of certain of the major non-protein constituents (water, oil, starch, other carbohydrates) in a manner to achieve a protein content of 40% (dry weight basis) or over’. Plant-based protein supplements are a clean source of quality protein. Plant proteins are digested better, contain more usable protein and come with balanced nutrition.

Fat Filled Milk 80% Coco is a free flowing spray dried powder. It is produced from fresh skimmed milk and refined vegetable fat. This product can be used as a replacer for whole milk powder.

CASTLE 80% FAT COCO

Milk Powder Concentrate is a concentrated milk product containing 40–85% of milk protein that has been separated by the spraying – drying method at a low temperature to keep the natural properties of milk proteins. This powder is ideal for low fat applications because of the rich dairy profile and creamy mouth-feel at a fraction of the fat, calorie and cholesterol content. The MPC products can be easily dissolved and are heat resistant. They have good emulsion building abilities, foam building and gel formation abilities, as well as water-binding properties. It is highly versatile. MPC has a milky taste and smell, and has little sediment. Due to its proprieties (good emulsion building abilities, foam building and gel formation abilities, as well as water-binding properties) it can be used in cheese, sour milk products, milk drinks, medical food, weight management supplements, sport drinks, and dietary supplements. It is added to increase the protein, vitamin B and Calcium content in the products.

Castle Dairy MILK POWDER CONCENTRATE

Casein is a slow-digesting protein similar to whey. Due to this characteristic, it has little effect on protein synthesis. Casein is obtained from milk and it is a very good source of essential amino acids. Casein can be used as nutritional suppliments, thickener, emulsifier and texture stabilizer in food such as in cream-based soups, sherbet, pudding and custard, beverages

Acid Whey Powder is a free flowing spray dried powder. It is produced from the whey coming from the acid curdling of the milk during cheese production. It is used to produce pastry, bakery products, chocolate, biscuit, ice cream, convenience food like ready-cooked dishes, desserts, etc.

Castle Dairy SKIMMED MILK POWDER, DELACTOSED is a dry powder obtained by evaporating lactose free skimmed milk. It has a yellowish white color and a slightly sweet smell and flavor.

Castle Dairy SKIMMED MILK POWDER, STANDARD is a free flowing creamy-white powder, obtained from high quality fresh cow milk that has been skimmed, pasteurized at a temperature that doesn't alter its properties, vacuum concentrated in a multi-stage down draft evaporator and then spray-dried. It has no cooked-milk odor and taste.

Sweet Whey Powder is a free flowing spray dried powder. It is produced from the whey coming from the rennet, low acidity curdling off the milk, during cheese production.
